1. Agreement to Terms

By using Dad App ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We may update these terms, and continued use means you accept the changes.

2. Description of Service

Dad App provides AI-powered personal assistance for task management, scheduling, vendor coordination (ContractorAI), and family organization. The Service is available via SMS/text message and iOS app.

3. Accounts

• You must be 18+ to create an account
• Provide accurate information and keep it updated
• You're responsible for maintaining account security
• One account per person (no sharing)
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

4. Subscription & Billing

• Free Trial: 7 days free, no credit card required to start
• Core Plan: $9.99/month - Includes DadAI, Honey-Do, reminders
• Pro Plan: $14.99/month - Includes ContractorAI, shopping, priority support
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until canceled
• Cancel anytime from the app or by texting "cancel"
• No refunds for partial months, but you keep access until period ends

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service
• Send spam or abusive messages through the Service
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Use automated systems to access the Service
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service

6. ContractorAI Terms

When using ContractorAI (Pro plan):

• We connect you with third-party contractors; we are not the contractor
• Contractors are independent businesses; verify their licenses and insurance
• We don't guarantee contractor availability, pricing, or quality of work
• Any disputes with contractors are between you and the contractor
• You're responsible for payment directly to contractors

7. AI Limitations

DadAI provides suggestions and assistance, but:

• AI responses may not always be accurate or appropriate
• Don't rely on DadAI for medical, legal, or financial advice
• You're responsible for decisions made based on AI suggestions
• AI features may change or be temporarily unavailable

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Dad App and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAD APP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases, but these terms survive as they apply to past use.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
